Glen Rock Borough is a borough located in the Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. In 2000, the population was 11546. In July 2008, its estimated population was 11131, giving it the 138th largest population among New Jersey. The borough comprises an area of 2.73 square miles (7.07 square kilometre), of which, 2.72 square miles (7.04 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, making it New Jersey's 223rd largest by total area.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 11546 people, 457 households, and 284 families living in the borough. The population density was 4246.1 people per square mile (1639.43/kmē), it is 149th most densely populated borough in New Jersey. There were 4024 housing units at an average density of 1479.4 per square mile (571.2/kmē). The average household size was 2.89 persons, and the average family size was 3.22 persons. In the borough the population was spread out, with 29.4% under the age of 18, 3.9% from 18 to 24, 27.4% from 25 to 44, 25.6% from 45 to 64, and 13.7% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 94.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 89.5 males. The median age of the borough's population was 39.5 years, The median age of males was 38.6 years, for females the median age was 40.2 years. The racial makeup of the borough was 10399 White, 209 Black or African American, 18 American Indian, 748 Asian, 2 Native Hawaiian, 99 from two or more races and 71 Ohter races.
