Glasscock County is a United States county located in the United States of Texas. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1406 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 1212, making it the ninth least populous county in Texas. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 900.93 mi˛ (2333.4 square kilometre), of which, 900.75 square miles (2332.93 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.19 square miles (0.49 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 165th largest in terms of geographical size.

The population density was 1.6 people per square mile (0.62/km˛), making it the 18th least densely populated county in Texas.
