Glassboro Borough is a borough located in the Gloucester County, New Jersey, United States. The population of the borough was 19068 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 19751, It is the 71st most populous in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The borough comprises an area of 9.22 miē (23.88 kmē), of which, 9.21 square miles (23.85 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 41st largest by total area among New Jersey.

As of the census of 2000, there were 19068 people, 457 households, and 284 families residing in the borough. The population density was 2071.3 people per square mile (799.73/kmē), it is New Jersey's 337th most densely populated borough.
