Girardville Borough is one of the borough of Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. Girardville Borough had an official population of 1742 in 2000. The July 2008 population estimate is 1641, making it the 675th most populous in Pennsylvania. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 0.54 square miles (1.4 kmē), of which, 0.52 square miles (1.35 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 349th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
