Girard Town is a one of the Burke County, Georgia, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 227. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 223, It is the 69th smallest by population in the U.S. state of Georgia. The town has a total area of 3.2 square miles (8.29 square kilometre), of which, 3.19 square miles (8.26 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 253rd largest by total area among Georgia.
