Gilt Edge City is a city in the Tipton County, Tennessee, United States. The population of the city was 489 as per the 2000 census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 481, It is the 59th smallest in terms of population. The city spans an area of 2.95 sq mi (7.64 square kilometre), of which, 2.91 square miles (7.54 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 234th largest by total area among Tennessee.
