Gilman City is a United States city located in the Iroquois County, Illinois, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1793 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 1714, It is the 523rd largest by population in the U.S. state of Illinois. It has total area of 2.13 miē (5.52 kmē), of which, 2.11 square miles (5.46 kmē) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 kmē) of it is water, it is the 430th largest by area in the U.S. state of Illinois.
