Gillette City, Wyoming is a city of the Campbell County, Wyoming, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 19646 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 26871, It is the fourth largest in terms of population. Its area is just over 13.39 mi˛ (34.68 sq km), of which, 13.37 square miles (34.63 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, it is the 35th largest by area in the U.S. state of Wyoming.

As of the census of 2000, there were 19646 people in the city, organized into 7390 households, and 5117 families living in the city. The population density was 1469.5 people per square mile (567.38/km˛), it would be the 16th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Wyoming.
