Gibson Town is a town in the Scotland County, North Carolina, United States. In 2000, the population was 584. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 552, making it North Carolina's 176th smallest. The town comprises an area of 0.98 mi˛ (2.54 sq km), making it North Carolina's 123rd smallest by total area.
