Gibson City is a United States city located in the Glascock County, Georgia, United States. Gibson City had an official population of 694 in 2000. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 761, It is the 388th largest by population in the U.S. state of Georgia. Its area is just over 1.04 square miles (2.69 sq km), of which, 1.04 square miles (2.69 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, making it Georgia's 119th smallest by total area.
