Gibsland Town is one of the town of Bienville Parish, Louisiana, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. Gibsland Town had an official population of 1119 in 2000. The town's estimated population as of July 2008 was 1047, making it Louisiana's 251st largest. The town spans an area of 2.66 square miles (6.89 sq km), of which, 2.65 square miles (6.86 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, making it the 213th largest by size in Louisiana.
