Gibraltar City is a city located in the Wayne County, Michigan, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 4264 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 4826, making it the 203rd most populous in Michigan. The city spans an area of 4.34 square miles (11.24 square kilometre), of which, 3.84 square miles (9.95 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.5 square miles (1.29 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 174th largest by total area in Michigan.
