Gibbsboro Borough is a one of the Camden County, New Jersey, located in Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The population of borough in 2000 stood at 2435 as per the Census data. Its population was estimated at 2434 in July 2008, It is the 118th smallest by population in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It has total area of 2.23 sq mi (5.78 kmē), of which, 2.2 square miles (5.7 kmē) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 kmē) of it is water, it is the 266th largest by area in the U.S. state of New Jersey.

The population density was 1109.3 people per square mile (428.3/kmē), it would be the 87th least densely populated borough in the U.S. state of New Jersey. There were 847 housing units at an average density of 385 per square mile (148.65/kmē). The average household size was 2.91 persons, and the average family size was 3.28 persons. In the borough the population is diverse age-wise, with 25.3% under the age of 18, 7.3% from 18 to 24, 27.9% from 25 to 44, 26% from 45 to 64, and 13.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 98.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.6 males. The median age was 38.6 years, The median age of males was 37.6 years, for females the median age was 39.4 years. The racial makeup of the borough was 2289 White, 68 Black or African American, 10 American Indian, 26 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 24 from two or more races and 18 Ohter races.
