Gibbon City is a city located in the Buffalo County, Nebraska, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 1759 as per the Census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 1847, making it Nebraska's 70th largest. It covers total area of 0.84 mi˛ (2.18 square kilometre), it is the 112th largest by area in the U.S. state of Nebraska.
