Gibbon City is a one of the Sibley County, Minnesota, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 808. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 738, making it Minnesota's 376th largest. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.89 miē (2.31 kmē), it is the 569th largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
