Gettysburg Borough is a United States borough located in the Adams County, Pennsylvania, United States. The borough has a population of 7490 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 8040, making it Pennsylvania's 169th largest. The borough comprises an area of 1.65 mi˛ (4.27 square kilometre), giving it the 472nd largest by total area among Pennsylvania.
