Georgetown City is a one of the Vermilion County, Illinois, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 3628 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 3440, It is the 376th largest in terms of population. The city comprises an area of 1.61 mi˛ (4.17 square kilometre), making it the 514th largest by size in Illinois.
