Geneva City, Geneva County, Alabama is a city located in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The city has a population of 4388 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 4445, making it Alabama's 117th largest. The city has a total area of 15.05 square miles (38.98 kmē), of which, 14.87 square miles (38.51 kmē) of it is land and 0.18 square miles (0.47 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 80th largest by total area among Alabama.

As of the census of 2000, there were 4388 people in the city, organized into 1801 households, and 1198 families residing in the city. The population density was 295.1 people per square mile (113.94/kmē), giving it the 244th most densely populated city among the Alabama. There were 2097 housing units at an average density of 141 per square mile (54.44/kmē). The average household size was 2.35 persons, and the average family size was 2.94 persons.
