Gem Lake City is a city located in Ramsey County, Minnesota, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The city has a population of 419 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 442, making it the 529th most populous in Minnesota. It is spread over 1.14 mi˛ (2.95 sq km), of which, 1.11 square miles (2.87 sq km ) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, it is the 458th largest in terms of geographical size.
