Geistown Borough is a borough located in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, borough has a population of 2555 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 2352, giving it the 530th largest population among Pennsylvania. It is spread over 1.08 square miles (2.8 square kilometre), it is the 692nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2555 people, 1105 households, and 749 families living in the borough. The population density was 2364.1 people per square mile (912.78/kmē), making it the 543rd most densely populated borough in Pennsylvania. There were 1160 housing units at an average density of 1074.1 per square mile (414.71/kmē). The average household size was 2.3 persons, and the average family size was 2.85 persons. Age range in the borough was well distributed with 21.1% under the age of 18, 5.8% from 18 to 24, 24.1% from 25 to 44, 26.2% from 45 to 64, and 22.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 87 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 84.5 males. The racial makeup of the borough was 2496 White, 10 Black or African American, 1 American Indian, 35 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 12 from two or more races and 1 Ohter races.
