Geauga County is a county located in the United States of Ohio. As per the 2000 census, county has a population of 90895 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 94753, It is the 29th most populous county in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 408.29 miē (1057.47 kmē), of which, 403.66 square miles (1045.47 kmē) of it is land and 4.63 square miles (11.99 kmē) of it is water, it is the 13th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Ohio.

As of the census of 2000, there were 90895 people in the county, organized into 31630 households, and 24997 families residing in the county. The population density was 225.2 people per square mile (86.95/kmē), making it the 25th most densely populated county in Ohio. There were 32805 housing units at an average density of 81.3 per square mile (31.39/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.84 persons, and the average family size was 3.24 persons. In the county the population is diverse age-wise, with 28.4% under the age of 18, 6.4% from 18 to 24, 26.6% from 25 to 44, 26.7% from 45 to 64, and 12% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 96.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.3 males. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 94753, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 97.05% White, 1.58% Black or African American, 0.09% American Indian, 0.54% Asian, 0.01% Native Hawaiian, and 0.73% from two or more races.
