Gayville Town is a town located in Yankton County, South Dakota, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 418. The July 2008 population estimate is 401, making it South Dakota's 153rd largest. The town encompasses an area of 0.19 miē (0.49 kmē), makes it the 29th smallest by total area in South Dakota.
