Gates City is one of the city of Marion and Linn counties, Oregon, located towards the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 471 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 485, It is Oregon's 76th smallest by population .
