Garvin County is a county located in the United States of Oklahoma. In 2000, county's population was 27210 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 27247, It is 34th most populous county in Oklahoma. The county encompasses an area of 813.66 sq mi (2107.37 square kilometre ), of which, 807.49 square miles (2091.39 square kilometre) of it is land and 6.18 square miles (16.01 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Oklahoma's 39th largest county by total area.

In the county the population is diverse age-wise, with 24.8% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 26% from 25 to 44, 23.1% from 45 to 64, and 17.9% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 92.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 88.8 males. Its population was estimated at 27247 in July 2008, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 23232 White, 819 Black or African American, 2163 American Indian, 76 Asian, 24 Native Hawaiian, and 933 from two or more races.
