Garden Grove City is a city in the Orange County, California, United States. Garden Grove City had an official population of 165196 in 2000. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 165796, giving it the 21st largest population among California. It covers total area of 18.04 mi˛ (46.72 sq km), of which, 18.02 square miles (46.67 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, it is the 180th largest in terms of geographical size.
