Galva City is a city located in Ida County, Iowa, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 368. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 296, making it the 555th most populous in Iowa. It has total area of 0.64 square miles (1.66 kmē), making it the 534th largest by size in Iowa.
