Gallup City is a one of the McKinley County, New Mexico, located in Western Region (Mountain) of United States. The population of the city was 20209 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 19979, giving it the 12th largest population among New Mexico. Its area is just over 13.35 mi˛ (34.58 square kilometre), making it the 35th largest by size in New Mexico.
