Galesburg City is one of the city of Kalamazoo County, Michigan, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 1988 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 1933, It is the 318th largest by population in the U.S. state of Michigan. Its area is just over 1.44 miē (3.73 kmē), of which, 1.39 square miles (3.6 kmē) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 386th largest by total area among Michigan.

For every 100 females there were 98.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.5 males.
