Gainesville City is a one of the Ozark County, Missouri, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. It is home to over 632 people (2000 census). The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 594, making it Missouri's 442nd largest. Its area is just over 2.64 sq mi (6.84 square kilometre), making it Missouri's 211th largest by total area.
