Gaastra City is a United States city located in the Iron County, Michigan, United States. As of 2000 the population was 339. In July 2008, its estimated population was 300, It is the 52nd smallest by population in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is spread over 1.65 mi˛ (4.27 square kilometre), making it the 360th largest by size in Michigan.
