Furman Town is one of the town of Hampton County, South Carolina, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 286. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 278, It is the 63rd smallest in terms of population. The town has a total area of 3.12 mi˛ (8.08 square kilometre), it is the 195th largest by area in the U.S. state of South Carolina.
