The population of the census designated place was 636 as per the 2000 census data. It is Alaska's 88th largest by population . The census designated place extends throughout a territory of 29.32 sq mi (75.94 square kilometre ), of which, 27.19 square miles (70.42 square kilometre) of it is land and 2.13 square miles (5.52 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 160th largest in terms of geographical size.
