Fulton County is a county located in Arkansas, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The population of county in 2000 stood at 11642 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 11688, It is the 16th least populous county in the U.S. state of Arkansas. The county encompasses an area of 620.31 miē (1606.6 kmē ), of which, 618.16 square miles (1601.03 kmē) of it is land and 2.16 square miles (5.59 kmē) of it is water, making it the 23rd smallest by size in Arkansas.

For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93.1 males. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 11688, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 11348 White, 81 Black or African American, 84 American Indian, 25 Asian, 0 Native Hawaiian, and 150 from two or more races.
