Fulton City is a city located in Itawamba County, Mississippi, in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The population of the city was 3882 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 4073, It is Mississippi's 78th largest by population . It is spread over 8.86 square miles (22.95 sq km), of which, 8.62 square miles (22.33 sq km ) of it is land and 0.23 square miles (0.6 sq km) of it is water, making it Mississippi's 69th largest by total area.

The racial makeup of the city was 3249 White, 567 Black or African American, 9 American Indian, 20 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 26 from two or more races and 11 Ohter races.
