Freeport Borough, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania is a borough located in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Freeport Borough is home to 1962 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1810, It is the 630th most populous in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The borough extends throughout a territory of 1.18 square miles (3.06 sq km ), of which, 1.16 square miles (3 sq km) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, making it the 644th largest by size in Pennsylvania.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1962 people in the borough, organized into 878 households, and 532 families living in the borough. The racial or ethnic makeup of the borough was 98.42% White, 0.25% Black or African American, 0% American Indian, 0.25% Asian, 0.05% Native Hawaiian, 0.61% from two or more races and 0.41% Other races.
