Freemansburg Borough, Northampton County, Pennsylvania is a borough located in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The population of borough in 2000 stood at 1897 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 2022, giving it the 646th largest population among Pennsylvania. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 0.76 mi˛ (1.97 square kilometre), of which, 0.73 square miles (1.89 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 885th largest by total area in Pennsylvania.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1897 people, 687 households, and 493 families residing in the borough. The population density was 2600.5 people per square mile (1004.06/km˛), it is 493rd most densely populated borough in Pennsylvania. The racial makeup of the borough was 1664 White, 53 Black or African American, 6 American Indian, 9 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 56 from two or more races and 109 Ohter races.
