Freedom Borough is one of the borough of Beaver County, Pennsylvania, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 1763. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the borough is 1595, It is Pennsylvania's 670th largest by population . The borough encompasses an area of 0.72 mi˛ (1.86 square kilometre ), of which, 0.59 square miles (1.53 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.13 square miles (0.34 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Pennsylvania's 915th largest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1763 people, 687 households, and 470 families living in the borough. The population density was 2984.4 people per square mile (1152.28/km˛), making its Pennsylvania's 402nd most densely populated borough. There were 731 housing units at an average density of 1239 per square mile (478.38/km˛). The average household size was 2.56 and the average family size was 3.09. In the borough Population was distributed with 25.8% under the age of 18, 10.4% from 18 to 24, 29% from 25 to 44, 20.8% from 45 to 64, and 14% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 93.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 85.9 males. The median age of the borough's population was 36.2 years, The median age of males was 33.8 years, for females the median age was 38.8 years. The racial makeup of the borough was 92.8% White, 5.16% Black or African American, 0.06% American Indian, 0.23% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 1.53% from two or more races and 0.23% Other races.
