Free Soil Village is a one of the Mason County, Michigan, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. It is home to over 177 people (2000 census). Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 176, It is the eighth smallest by population in the U.S. state of Michigan. Its area is just over 1.03 sq mi (2.67 kmē), it is the 156th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Michigan.
