Frederick City is a one of the Frederick County, Maryland, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 52767 people (2000 census). Its area is just over 20.42 square miles (52.89 sq km), it is the 11th largest by area in the U.S. state of Maryland.
