The July 2008 population estimate is 11619, It is the 160th largest in terms of population. Its area is just over 9.83 miē (25.46 kmē), of which, 9.45 square miles (24.48 kmē) of it is land and 0.38 square miles (0.98 kmē) of it is water, it is the 39th largest by area in the U.S. state of New Jersey.
