Franklin City is a city in the Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States. In 2000, the population was 29560. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 32148, It is Massachusetts's 45th largest by population . The city comprises an area of 27.01 mi˛ (69.96 sq km), of which, 26.74 square miles (69.26 sq km) of it is land and 0.27 square miles (0.7 sq km) of it is water, it is the 16th largest by area in the U.S. state of Massachusetts.
