Frankfort City is a United States city located in the Benzie County, Michigan, United States. The city has a population of 1513 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 1451, It is 370th most populous in Michigan. It covers total area of 1.59 mi˛ (4.12 square kilometre), of which, 1.4 square miles (3.63 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.19 square miles (0.49 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 369th largest by size in Michigan.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 1513 residents, 665 households, and 395 families in the city.
