Frankenmuth City is one of the city of Saginaw County, Michigan, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. Frankenmuth City had an official population of 4838 in 2000. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 4652, making it the 185th most populous in Michigan. It has total area of 2.79 mi˛ (7.23 square kilometre), of which, 2.73 square miles (7.07 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Michigan's 256th largest by total area.
