Framingham Cdp had an official population of 66910 in 2000. making it Massachusetts's 14th largest. It covers total area of 26.44 square miles (68.48 sq km), of which, 25.12 square miles (65.06 sq km) of it is land and 1.32 square miles (3.42 sq km) of it is water, it is the 18th largest by area in the U.S. state of Massachusetts.
