Fox Lake Village is a city located in the Lake and McHenry counties, Illinois, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 9178 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 11087, It is the 216th largest in terms of population. The city encompasses an area of 8.98 miē (23.26 kmē ), of which, 7.35 square miles (19.04 kmē) of it is land and 1.63 square miles (4.22 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 96th largest by total area in Illinois. It is ranks 11 in the size of its inland waterways in Illinois.
