Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 25227, It is the 29th largest by population in the U.S. state of Arizona. It is spread over 18.22 square miles (47.19 kmē), of which, 18.17 square miles (47.06 kmē ) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 kmē) of it is water, making it Arizona's 84th largest by total area.
