Fountain City is a one of the El Paso County, Colorado, located in Western Region (Mountain) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 15197. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 19669, It is 37th most populous in Colorado. It has total area of 14.01 sq mi (36.29 sq km), of which, 14 square miles (36.26 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 36th largest in terms of geographical size.
