Fort Yukon City is a city in the Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 595 as per the Census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 520, making it Alaska's 92nd largest. It covers total area of 7.43 sq mi (19.24 sq km), of which, 7 square miles (18.13 sq km) of it is land and 0.42 square miles (1.09 sq km) of it is water, it is the 89th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Alaska.

As of the census of 2000, there were 595 people, 225 households, and 137 families residing in the city.
