Fort Worth City, Tarrant, Denton, Parker and Wise counties, Texas is a city located in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. It is home to over 534694 people (2000 census). The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 703073, It is sixth most populous in Texas. It has total area of 298.89 mi˛ (774.12 square kilometre), of which, 292.54 square miles (757.68 square kilometre) of it is land and 6.35 square miles (16.45 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the fifth largest by total area among Texas. It is ranks 17 in the size of its inland waterways in Texas.
