Fort Towson Town is a town located in Choctaw County, Oklahoma, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The town has a population of 611 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 591, giving it the 309th largest population among Oklahoma. The town extends throughout a territory of 5.94 sq mi (15.38 sq km ), of which, 5.57 square miles (14.43 sq km) of it is land and 0.37 square miles (0.96 sq km) of it is water, making it Oklahoma's 171st largest by total area.

The population density was 109.7 people per square mile (42.36/kmē), it would be the 143rd least densely populated town in the U.S. state of Oklahoma.
